60 New Pictures of the 2008 season added to Gallery!

I have spent nearly all my life fishing the waters of South Louisiana.  I have operated a shrimp boat on Lake Pontchartrain during high school and college.  Being in a boat on the water has always been second nature to me.  I have fished many areas around the state including Grand Isle, Golden Meadow,  Hopedale and the Rigolets; but after my first trip to Venice nearly 10 years ago, it has now become the only place for me.  Since that time I have spent numerous hours on the water learning the area, which enables me to put customers into the right place at the right time so that they have an enjoyable fishing experience.

Come on down to the Mississippi River Delta and let me go to work for you.  We can target speckled trout, redfish, flounder, or just go fishing.  Let me know what you'd like to do and I can customize your trip to the best of my ability.  We can purchase live bait, including shrimp and cacahoe minnows, but I also use a cast net to catch finger mullet and live pogies.  I'll be glad to show you some different fishing techniques using live bait to coax bites from speckled trout, redfish and flounder.  I also use a variety of artificial lures, from plastics on a jighead to topwater baits.

We'll fish out of a 24' Champion powered by a 250 Yamaha Four Stroke.  The boat is rigged with state-of-the-art equipment including a Lowrance GPS / depth finder, motor guide trolling motor and the best rods and reels money can buy.
